City of Hamilton Drainage Department, Region-Wide Microcomputer- Based Real Time Control System, Hamilton, Canada. Developing a computer modeling-based CSO control package that includes four primary components: Rainfall Forecasting Model; Inflow Prediction Model; CSO Control Optimization Model; and Unsteady Sewer Network Hydraulics Model. The major purposes of the project are to control flooding of interceptors and the wastewater treatment plant without over-discharging CSO into Lake Ontario and optimize the discharge locations according to different pollution protection priorities.
